High-torque, slow-speed shredder

High-torque, slow-speed shredder combines ripping, breaking and shearing to grind purgings and other large chunks These shredders are designed to reduce the size of mixed bulky waste with out regard ot the size of the
part, such as  demolition debris , tree stumps,  tires and carpets.  The large in-feed opening of the cutting chamber  accepts and processes the broadest range of waste materials at high rates of production.
High-torque, slow-speed shredder systems process between 10-80 tons per hour with up to 80% volume reduction. The  open-grate design of the cutting chambers allows contaminants such as rock and dirt, to fall through without causing unnecessary wear on the cutting blades.

Features:

  • High-torque, slow-speed design
  • Open cutting chamber
  • Independent, bi-directional shredding
  • Wear resistant cutters
  • Single/dual shafts

Single-Shaft Rotary Shredders

These shredders lend themselves to efficient processing of low bulk density plastic waste such as trim scraps, baled or loose film, synthetic fiber, wood processing scrap, medical waste, cardboard, paper and carpet.  They typically have one shaft turning at high rpm and low torque, producing small chips suitable for molding or extrusion.  Single-shaft rotaries  cut at high to medium speed and produce either shredder-sized chunks or smaller granules in one pass. Thus they can compete with both granulators and conventional shredders. Single-shaft rotaries generally have extra-large feed hoppers that can take in complete bales of film which are often held against the rotor by a ram feeder.

Features:

  • Large Infeed Hopper
  • Hydraulic  Ram
  • 4-Way, Indexable Cutting Inserts
  • Single Cutting Rotor
  • Heavy Duty  Duty Construction
  • The size and buld density
